DASA’s annual Sportacular Fusion event is now called Move our Mission and will be held Saturday, November 7th at RYSE Nightclub inside Ameristar Casino!
Join us for a one-of-a-kind, high-energy fundraising experience that reimagines the traditional gala. Blending an elegant atmosphere with a spirit of celebration, we transform inspiration into impact. Through powerful athlete stories and meaningful moments of connection, guests don’t just attend, they actively fuel opportunity. Every dollar raised and every connection made helps remove barriers and expand access to adaptive sports, creating lasting impact for athletes with physical disabilities.
For nearly three decades, DASA has transformed lives through adaptive sports, creating Paralympic champions and empowering thousands of athletes to build strength, confidence, and independence.

VIP DINNER & HAPPY HOUR EXPERIENCES
Move Our Mission features two unique and engaging levels of experiences designed to welcome supporters at every level of philanthropy.
The evening begins with an exclusive VIP Dinner, offering high-capacity donors an intimate seated and served dining experience with special program elements and opportunities to deepen their connection to our athletes and mission. Or, the Happy Hour option offers a vibrant and engaging atmosphere where guests can connect with fellow supporters, enjoy an open bar and hors d’oeuvres, and participate in Silent and Live Auctions, supporting the mission through a more accessible giving experience.
Both groups unite later in the evening after an inspiring Fund the Need presentation, for a Dance Party inside RYSE Nightclub, bringing the entire community together to celebrate the impact of their contributions towards adaptive sports and the athletes we serve.

ITEM DONATIONS
If you’re unable to sponsor or attend the event in person, you can still support DASA Athletes by donating an item for the live or silent auction! Your donation is tax deductible and will be recognized on our bidding platform and other event promotions. Since 1997, DASA has empowered thousands of children and adults with physical disabilities through adaptive sports, fitness, recreation, and competition opportunities.
What began as a local program has grown into a leading adaptive sports organization serving the Greater St. Louis region, Mid-Missouri, and athletes throughout Missouri and the Midwest. Today, DASA offers a wide range of recreational and competitive sports, including basketball, rugby, tennis, boccia, archery, air rifle, and powerlifting, while continually developing new opportunities for participation.
DASA’s programs extend beyond competition. The Ability Gym provides specialized adaptive fitness training that improves strength, mobility, and independence. Wiggles & Giggles introduces children as young as 18 months to movement, sport, and self-confidence. Camp WeCanDu creates life-changing experiences for more than 60 children each summer through a week-long overnight camp focused on independence, friendship, and adventure.
Your support helps individuals with physical disabilities reach their full potential—on and off the court. Through sport and fitness, participants build confidence, improve physical and mental health, develop independence, foster meaningful connections, and gain greater representation within their communities.
Donor support directly impacts DASA by:
- Providing Ability Gym and fitness scholarships for individuals with physical disabilities and Multiple Sclerosis.
- Securing accessible facilities, adaptive equipment, and resources needed to deliver comprehensive programs throughout the region.
- Investing in state-of-the-art training equipment, including the Ability Gym’s Solo-Step overhead tracking system.
- Recruiting and retaining highly qualified coaches and staff with specialized adaptive sports expertise.
- Keeping programs affordable and accessible by subsidizing participation costs for athletes and families.
